PHOENIX — Despite an ongoing legal feud to stay in the desert, the Arizona Coyotes announced their preseason schedule on Tuesday.

The schedule has the team playing just one preseason game at Gila River Arena in Glendale. The team is currently embroiled in a lawsuit to remain in the building after its lease was canceled by the city last week.
The Coyotes will open preseason play with a game against the Los Angeles Kings in Bakersfield, Calif. They will then play the Kings again at Staples Center followed by away games at the Sharks, Canucks and Oilers.
The lone home preseason game will be against the Sharks on Oct. 2 at 7 p.m.
