He may not be a member of the Phoenix Suns, but Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green loves to talk about his Pacific Division foes.

After the Suns knocked out the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs, the guest NBA on TNT analyst was apparently reminded by Suns fans of what he said back in 2020 about star guard Devin Booker and his future in the desert.

You know, when Green was eventually fined $50,000 for saying “get my man out of Phoenix” because “it’s not good for his career.”

But now that the Suns are on the up and up, Green is now asking the same fanbase he bashed to show some gratitude.

“Shoutout to all the Suns fans sending me what I said about Book,” Green said in a Twitter post. “Y’all ungrateful (expletive) should be THANKING me. That day, they finally decided to get him some HELP.

“Love to see it! I’m gonna start a GoFund me so y’all can show gratitude and pay my 50k back!”

Green was clearly off his mark about Booker in Phoenix, who turned in an impressive first career playoff series against the Lakers.

In six games, the guard averaged 29.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and five assists over 40.8 minutes per contest. He shot 48.8% from the field and 42.9% from long range.
