HARRISON, N.Y. (AP) — Hall of Famer Karrie Webb birdied the 18th hole for a 2-under-par 71 to take the early lead at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, the second major of the season.

The 40-year-old Webb, who has won seven majors, finished at 7-under 139 Friday after the second round at the Westchester Country Club.

Canadian teenager Brooke Henderson was a shot back after a 73, and overnight leader Jenny Shin (75) and Stacy Lewis (71) were at 5 under among the early starters.

Webb had three birdies and a bogey, and Henderson had five birdies and five bogeys in her up-and-down round.
