The Phoenix Suns’ scoring turned up the heat in the arena Wednesday night in Game 2 of the conference semifinals against the Denver Nuggets, so much so that a kid took off his shirt.
There were many things to cheer about in the Suns’ 123-98 victory to take a 2-0 lead in the series, but that moment proved to be one of the loudest.
His excitement even caught the attention of players on the floor when he was shown on the jumbotron.
Torrey Craig said the Suns all heard the crowd roar during this, looked up at the screen, shook their heads at each other and said “this is wild.” https://t.co/NgZndu2vwm

Chris Paul said the arena went crazy when the kid took his shirt off.
“Got a little loud, got louder, then it got crazy. I remember covering my ears and coach was like, ‘Chris get back in the huddle.'”
The kid, like most of Phoenix Suns Arena and the Valley in general, have been ecstatic about this team that continues their triumphant return to the playoffs after a decade drought.
After knocking out the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers in the opening round and taking the first two against the Nuggets by more than double digits, Phoenix Suns fever is clearly back in The Purple Palace.
