The Phoenix Suns are heading to the Western Conference Finals in their first playoff appearance in over a decade.
Leading 63-55 at halftime over the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of the conference semis, Suns point guard Chris Paul decided to put the team on his shoulders.
Paul took over in the third quarter, posting 12 points on a perfect 6-of-6 from the field. That feat is tied for the most by any player in a playoff quarter over the last 20 seasons.
The Point God did so by hitting his trademark shot near the right elbow, regardless of how many Nuggets defenders were in his face.

Through the first 36 minutes of Game 4, Paul has 24 points on 10-of-13 shooting (76.9%) to go along with five assists, three rebounds and two steals.
At one point, the Suns point guard hit nine shots in a row in the second half and finished the night with season-high 37 points, seven dimes, three boards and two steals.
That tally marks the most points the Point God has scored in the last three years of his career.
Denver center and league MVP Nikola Jokic was ejected in the third period after a foul on Cam Payne was deemed a flagrant two.
The Suns beat the Nuggets 125-118 to sweep the Western Conference semifinals series 4-0.
