The Arizona Diamondbacks lost their 22nd straight road game as they fell to the San Francisco Giants 13-7 on Wednesday night, tying the longest road losing streak in MLB history.

Arizona is now tied with the 1963 New York Mets and the 1943 Philadelphia Athletics for the most consecutive losses on the road.

The 1963 Mets finished with a 51-111 record and the 1943 Athletics closed out their season by going 49-105-1.

The last time the D-backs won a road game was against the Atlanta Braves on April 25, when Madison Bumgarner threw his seven-inning no-hitter.

In the D-backs last 30 games, they have gone 3-27 during that span.

Throughout the month of June, Arizona has only been able to win one game, a 6-5 extra innings victory against the New York Mets.

Arizona is currently on a 13-game losing streak.

The Diamondbacks will try to avoid making history on Thursday as Zac Gallen comes off the injured list and makes his return to the team. Gallen has been out since May 12 due to a right elbow strain.
