San Francisco Giants team bus leaves manager Bruce Bochy in the dust

They say professional sports is a what have you done for me lately industry.
However, if you’re San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy, you’d think that after winning last year’s World Series it would buy you a little latitude, at least as it pertains to boarding the team bus after a game.
According to Fox Sports West, Bochy was afforded no such courtesy, as the Giants team bus mistakenly left Dodger Stadium without him following the Giants’ 9-5 win over the Dodgers.
“The bus left me,” Bochy said Saturday. “I thought it was like, ‘Leave no troops behind.'”
In fact, Bochy actually had to hail a cab in order to make it back to the team hotel. Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford, who attended UCLA and was not staying at the team hotel during the road trip, noticed the deserted Bochy and offered him a ride. Bochy declined, however, as he didn’t want to inconvenience Crawford.
Thirty-five minutes and $20 later, Bochy reconvened with his team at the hotel. No word on whether the Bochy-less ride from the stadium to the hotel was the last for the forgetful bus driver.
