As the Phoenix Suns look to reach their first NBA Finals since 1993, the odds are trending in their favor.

BetMGM has the Suns as a five-point favorite over the Los Angeles Clippers for Sunday’s Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.

The over/under for Game 1 is set at 221.5.

It’s not just the Game 1 odds that favor Phoenix. BetMGM’s updated championship odds have the Suns as the favorites for the first time this season to win the title.

NBA Finals odds (June 19)

Suns +250
Nets +275
Clippers +350
Bucks +500

Predictive analytics site FiveThirtyEight also has Phoenix as the top dog at taking home the NBA title.

Based on the RAPTOR individual player ratings, the Suns have a 36% chance — best in the league — of winning the title and 58% shot at winning the conference finals.

The analytics site gave the Suns a 61% chance to defeat the Clippers on Sunday.
