Cue the Chuck Norris jokes for D-backs catcher Saltalamacchia

Chuck Norris doesn’t hit home runs, baseballs just fly off his bat and over the wall because they fear his beard.
It looks like Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia has taken notice.
Saltalamacchia has a nice new addition to his bat, with Norris’ familiar face from “Walker, Texas Ranger” grinning on the knob.
It can only be assumed that Norris used his roundhouse kicking to shave the wood and form the bat and that it was polished with his magnificent beard.
Saltalamacchia, as well as he and Norris’ beard, inspired so much fear in San Diego Padres pitcher Andrew Cashner that he walked the catcher to load the bases in Sunday’s 7-2 win.
Saltalamacchia is batting .171 with one home run and three RBI in 13 games for Arizona this season. Chuck Norris does not adhere to statistics.
