The Phoenix Suns selected Kentucky shooting guard Devin Booker with the 13th pick of the 2015 NBA Draft Thursday night.

Here’s a look at the newest Sun, by the numbers.

4

This is the fourth time in team history the Suns have drafted a player 13th overall. Phoenix drafted point guard Jay Humphries out of Colorado in that slot in 1984. The owned the 13th pick in back-to-back years, selecting Kansas forward Markieff Morris in 2011 and North Carolina point guard Kendall Marshall a year later.

29

Booker was ranked as the 29th-best high school recruit in the nation by Rivals.com and Scout.com in 2014. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 30.9 points per game as a senior at Moss Point High School in Mississippi.

2,518

Booker scored 2,518 points in his high school career and was named the Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior in 2013.

58

Booker hit 58 three-pointers in his one season at Kentucky — second-most on the team behind only Aaron Harrison, who had 59.

5

The Grand Rapids, Michigan native was named the SEC Freshman of the Week five times last season — the most in the conference. He won the honor four straight weeks between Jan. 12 and Feb. 2.

0

Booker didn’t start one game for head coach John Calipari, instead coming off the bench in 38 contests. Booker excelled in the role, winning the SEC Sixth Man of the Year Award.

20

Booker scored in double-figures in 20 of his 38 games last season. His season-high was 19 points, which he accomplished twice — Nov. 25 vs. Texas-Arlington and Dec. 20 vs. UCLA.

4

The Suns now have four one-and-done Kentucky players on the roster. Booker joins guards Eric Bledsoe, Archie Goodwin and Brandon Knight in that category. Knight is a restricted free agent.

19

Booker won’t turn 19 until Oct. 30.
