Chances are if you’ve never been drafted by an NBA team, you do not know what the experience is like.

And chances are, you’ve never been drafted by an NBA team.

Lucky for us, Devin Booker is big into social media, and he was more than happy to give his fans an inside look at his first weekend with the Phoenix Suns.

It started with being chosen 13th overall by Phoenix:

Blessed for this opportunity. Can't wait to get to Phoenix. Thank you @suns

Then, Booker finally left Brooklyn and made his way to the Valley of the Sun as well as 100-plus temperatures.

The fun and games ended, though, as it was time for Booker to get back to work.

Then the 18-year-old got to experience what has become a staple of Arizona summers.

Of course, there had to be time to eat.

You want a sign of a smart rookie? How about reaching out to arguably the most popular athlete in the state’s history?

Fitz approves, by the way:

That was about it for the former Kentucky shooting guard, who then went home after his whirlwind of a weekend.
