The Phoenix Suns are trying to move on after missing out on LaMarcus Aldridge, who chose the San Antonio Spurs.

A report from the Huffington Post has the Suns looking aggressive on the trade market.

Anderson, the former Cal sharpshooter, would give the Suns great floor spacing and an offensive threat at the power forward position.

Anderson averaged 13.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists last season for the New Orleans Pelicans. He shot only 34% on three-pointers last season, but is a 38% career three-point shooter.

Markieff Morris averaged 15.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in his first full year in the starting lineup last season.

There were issues with Morris. He had the second-most technical fouls in the NBA with 15, he called out Suns fans, and was charged with felony aggravated assault in April.

The Suns traded Markieff’s brother Marcus along with Danny Granger and Reggie Bullock to the Detroit Pistons in an effort to open up cap space for Aldridge.
