The Phoenix Suns came into Tuesday night’s Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals knowing they were facing a tough Los Angeles Clippers team.
The game was also being refereed by Scott Foster, which appeared not to be advantageous for the Suns considering the history he has with Chris Paul’s teams.
That’s because Paul’s teams — regardless if the Point God plays or not — had lost 11 straight games in which Foster has officiated.
The Suns point guard was out for Tuesday night’s Game 2 due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols.
Yet the team was able to pick up the win regardless as Deandre Ayton’s last-second alley-oop dunk gave the Suns a 104-103 victory over the Clippers and a 2-0 lead in the series, snapping the streak.
During the game, the Valley made its displeasure of Foster known, including during a double-technical that was called on the Suns’ Jae Crowder and Clippers Marcus Morris in the first quarter.
Jae Crowder committed the grievous sin of existing, which earned him a technical foul pic.twitter.com/CUG5G1sxwI

Marcus Morris shoved Jae Crowder for no reason, and Scott Foster T'd them both up, because of course he did

No way Crowder should have been T’d up for that. Scott Foster time.

Expect the Clippers to get a lot of 50-50 calls tonight. A classic NBA tactic. Scott Foster is the new Dick Bavetta.

Monty is reviewing that block on Jae Crowder (also Scott Foster)

Crowd booed Scott Foster when the refs were announced lol

Scott Foster. That is all.

Dude. Scott Foster can’t ref #Suns game anymore. This is terrible.
