A look at what’s happening all around the major leagues today:

___

SAME NAME

Call it De La Rosa day at Coors Field. In a quirky pitching matchup, Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Rubby De La Rosa (6-3) faces Colorado Rockies lefty Jorge De La Rosa (4-3).

BULLPEN BOOST

Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman is expected back with the team in Pittsburgh after missing the previous two games while on the paternity list. Chapman, a National League All-Star each of the past three seasons, has 15 saves in 16 opportunities. The last nine outs he’s recorded have all been strikeouts.

TEXAS TROUBLE

Oakland right-hander Sonny Gray has been especially stingy in Texas, going 4-0 with a 0.29 ERA in four career road starts against the Rangers. He threw two shutouts there last year and pitched 6 2-3 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts and seven walks May 3. Gray has the lowest ERA for any opposing pitcher with at least 15 innings at Texas. He faces the Rangers again in a series finale.

ENCORE

Touted prospect Matt Wisler makes his second major league start for Atlanta in the series finale against Washington. He gave up one run and six hits over eight innings in his sparkling debut, a 2-1 victory over the New York Mets last Friday. “It’s still kind of hitting me that I’m still up here. I’m trying to do a job, but obviously it’s still fun to take it all in,” Wisler said.

LESTER’S LOSSES

Jon Lester goes for his first win since May 16 when the Chicago Cubs host the Los Angeles Dodgers in the finale of a four-game set at Wrigley Field. The left-hander, who signed a $155 million, six-year contract with Chicago over the winter, is 0-3 with a 3.93 ERA in his last six starts. The Dodgers counter with right-hander Carlos Frias, who is 0-3 with a 5.25 ERA in four June starts.
