Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker ditched the mask protecting his broken nose in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night.
Booker also dropped 14 points in the first half against the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
The Suns took a 66-57 lead into the locker room at the break.
Booker shot 46.2% from the field (6-for-13), went 1 of 3 from three and a perfect 1-for-1 from the charity stripe in the opening two quarters.
With Suns wing Cam Johnson out due to a non-COVID illness, other Phoenix players have stepped up in order to replace Johnson’s 10.8 points and 23.8 minutes per game through the first five games of the series.
Jae Crowder added 16 points on 5 of 8 shooting from the field (62.5%), 4-for-6 from deep (66.7%) and a perfect 2 of 2 from the free throw line in 19 minutes.
Cam Payne and Dario Saric each added seven points off the bench over 12 and fives minutes played, respectively.
Phoenix looks to punch its first ticket to the NBA Finals since 1993 with a win at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
