Report: Diamondbacks, Paul Goldschmidt agree to contract extension

The 2013 season is off to a great start for Paul Goldschmidt.
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Goldschmidt have agreed to an extension that could keep the first baseman in Arizona through 2019.

Goldschmidt hit .286 with 20 home runs and 82 RBI in 145 games in 2012.
His first season with the club was in 2011 when he played in 48 games.
