Report: Hawks’ Trae Young out with foot injury for Game 5 vs. Bucks

Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young will miss Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a foot injury he sustained earlier in the series.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Hawks’ All-Star will miss his second straight game.
Young suffered his foot injury in the third quarter of Game 3 against Milwaukee.
He sustained the injury in Game 3 after stepping on a referee’s foot while rushing to get back on defense.

The Hawks’ medical staff evaluated Young and eventually took him to the locker room for further treatment.
He returned to the Atlanta bench but did not check back into the game as the Hawks lost, 113-102.
Atlanta evened the series with Young sidelined on Tuesday with a 110-88 in Game 4.
Through 15 playoff games this postseason, Young is averaging 29.8 points, 9.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 37.9 minutes of work.
Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals tips-off at 5:30 p.m. on TNT.
