It’s about as subjective a topic as one could think of.
Who are the best players in _______ history?
During the All-Star Game, Major League Baseball released the results of the voting to determine the ‘Franchise Four’ for every team in the league.
It’s a fun concept, both for reminiscing as well as debate.
But what if we apply the discussion to other sports? What if we then get the opinions of some of the players who were on those teams?
That’s what Burns and Gambo on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM did, as they got some ‘Franchise Fours’ from former Valley athletes.
Here is how it went:
Phoenix Suns
Ok got the call from Jerry Colangelo – His Suns Franchise 9, Hawkins, Barkley, Nash, KJ, Adams, Chambers, Walter Davis, Van Arsdale, Majerle

Jerry wouldn't give a Franchise Four — said he didn't have to because he's the boss. So he gave us 9.
