The Hartford Yard Goats are the G.O.A.T.
Introducing the Hartford Yard Goats, the new Double-A affiliate of the MLB’s Colorado Rockies.
The new team made waves after announcing that they would be changing from the New Britain Rock Cats and moving to Dunkin’ Donuts Park in Hartford, Conn. starting in 2016.
They made even more noise after announcing their unique new nickname: the Yard Goats.
Now comes the biggest announcement — their new uniforms and logo.

The new team colors are gray, tan, Kelly green and royal blue.
Hartford’s logo is particularly interesting with the Yard Goat munching on a baseball bat, with lettering paying “homage to the lettering used by the now-defunct New York/New Haven/Hartford Railroad Company.”
Merchandise featuring the new logo is now available on the team’s official website.
