Arizona State was well represented on the All-Pac-12 Conference preseason teams released Tuesday, with four First Team selections and an additional six Second Team selections.
Sophomore offensive lineman Dohnovan West, junior punter Michael Turk, junior defensive lineman Jermayne Lole and senior cornerback Chase Lucas were the Sun Devils’ first team selections.
The four first-team picks ranked second in the conference, tied with USC and only trailing Utah’s five choices selected by the media.
Sophomore quarterback Jayden Daniels and junior running back Rachaad White highlighted ASU’s second team selections.
Senior offensive lineman Kellen Diesch, senior safety Evan Fields, senior defensive lineman Tyler Johnson and freshman returner D.J. Taylor also made the second team.
West and Turk were ASU’s only All-Pac-12 First Team selections in the Sun Devils’ abbreviated 2020 season, which saw them play only four games due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sun Devils were picked to finish third in the Pac-12 South in 2021 after a 2-2 finish last season.
Arizona State kicks off its season on Sept. 2 at Sun Devil Stadium against Southern Utah.
