The Arizona Cardinals announced three roster moves on Saturday, signing running back Ito Smith and releasing cornerback Lorenzo Burns and running back Khalifani Muhammad.

Smith is a three year veteran, spending his entire NFL tenure with the Atlanta Falcons. He has rushed for 689 yards and six touchdowns on 175 attempts through 35 games played. He added 55 receptions for 314 yards in that times span.

Smith was a fourth-round draft pick in 2018 out of Southern Mississippi.

Burns was an undrafted rookie out of Arizona. He played five games for the Wildcats last year, posting 24 tackles with two for loss.

He logged nine interceptions over 42 games at UA.

Muhammad was serving his second stint with the Cardinals. Drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Muhammad has since bounced to multiple teams as a practice squad member.

He was signed to a reserve/future contract with the Cardinals in January of 2021.
