ESPN 620 AM will now simulcast on 98.7 FM HD-2

Arizona Sports’ offerings are now a click away from one another on your FM dial.
ESPN 620 AM has begun simulcasting on the 98.7 FM HD-2 channel, giving listeners in the Phoenix area a cleaner, higher-quality sound for all programming.
“This is significant because in addition airing on the biggest AM signal in the Southwest, all ESPN 620 programming will now have the highest quality HD sound and will be one click away from Arizona Sports on the FM dial,” Bonneville Phoenix vice president of programming Ryan Hatch said.
While 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station carries games for the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona State Sun Devils, ESPN 620 AM station serves as a hub for local game broadcasts when there are multiple teams playing on a given night.
The AM station carries some Phoenix Rising FC games and national ESPN programming.
It has additionally featured local shows such as the Arizona Cardinals’ Red Sea Report and Big Red Rage, plus Arizona State’s offerings, including All Aboard with Herm Edwards.
