The reigning Western Conference champions will be featured in 34 nationally televised games this season – the most in franchise history.

Phoenix had 13 scheduled nationally televised games last year as the schedule was rolled out in two separate segments.

This year the Suns will play on ESPN 11 times, TNT nine times, ABC three times and NBATV 11 times.

The Suns have the fifth-most nationally-televised games in the league after the Los Angeles Lakers (42), Golden State Warriors (41), Brooklyn Nets (38) and Milwaukee Bucks (36).

They open the year at home against the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 20. and follow that with an Oct. 22 visit to the Lakers.

Both games tip at 7 p.m. MST and will be on ESPN.

The Suns defeated the Lakers in six games in the first round of the 2021 postseason and swept the Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals.

Phoenix additionally hosts the Golden State Warriors at Footprint Center on Christmas Day 2021. It’s their first Dec. 25 game since 2009.

Notable home matchups include the Dallas Mavericks (Nov. 17and 19), Los Angeles Clippers (Jan. 6 and Feb. 15), Milwaukee Bucks (Feb. 10), Utah Jazz (Jan. 24 and Feb. 27) and Los Angeles Lakers (March 13 and April 5).
