D-backs’ game vs. Rockies rescheduled for 6 p.m. due to weather delay

The Arizona Diamondbacks will be taking on the Colorado Rockies on Saturday night at Coors Field in Denver at 6 p.m., the team announced via Twitter.
First pitch was originally scheduled for 5:10 p.m., but a weather delay pushed back the start time by 50 minutes.
Just before 5 p.m. Arizona time, the Coors Field grounds crew rolled out the tarp over the infield while it was announced that the game was in a weather delay.

The D-backs are coming off of Friday night’s 9-4 loss in the series opener to the Rockies which snapped Arizona’s three-game winning streak.
Right-handed pitcher Tyler Gilbert allowed four runs on nine hits and struck out two over five innings of work in his second career start following his no-hitter.
Saturday night’s matchup will feature Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen going up against Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland.
