Arizona State football posted its uniform combination for Saturday’s Week 2 bout with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, at Sun Devil Stadium.
The Sun Devils will debut their new maroon iridescent helmets that have their pitchfork logo in white on each side. The headwear also has a white strip down the middle and a white facemask.

ASU will pair the helmets with the maroon home jerseys that have the black-trimmed gold numbers and the Arizona State flag homage on the chest.
Arizona State will complete the fit with white pants and white AdiZero cleats.
ASU had been wearing gold and white helmets exclusively in recent seasons, but the new helmets are designed to reflect the school’s colors and the Arizona sunset in them.
The Sun Devils head into their second matchup 1-0 after defeating Southern Utah 41-14 last Thursday. The Rebels enter 0-1 following an overtime loss to Eastern Washington.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. in Tempe.
