LeBron James has thrown out hints that he’s an Arizona Cardinals fan in the past.
Although he’s from Cleveland and resides in Los Angeles these days, it still seems that the NBA great is rooting for Arizona’s NFL team. Or at least several of the players on the Cardinals.
On Sunday, James liked a back-of-the-end-zone catch by DeAndre Hopkins that helped put the Cardinals up on the Tennessee Titans 10-0 in the first quarter of their Week 1 game.
D HOP!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Not long after, the Lakers star shouted out Cardinals linebacker Chandler Jones, who was torching the Titans offensive line early.
Chandler Jones going for DPOY already!! My goodness!! 3 sacks in the 1st

Three sacks in a quarter is indeed impressive, King James, who wasn’t done tweeted Cardinals content.
Kyler Murray on 1 today!!! Sheesh man!! 4TDs so far. Still 10 mins in the 3rd

This isn’t the first time James had shown some Cardinals fandom.
When NBA teams were in the Disney World bubble in the midst of the pandemic, James made a routine of relaxing with a glass of wine and playing Madden — as Arizona.
He’s tweeted a few more times while rooting for Hopkins as well.
The Cardinals were making it easy for James — and Cardinals fans — to cheer early in their 2021 opener.
