Guard Chasson Randle is among the players invited to Phoenix Suns training camp heading into the 2021-22 season, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Randle, 28, has extensive playing experience in the NBA and otherwise since he went undrafted out of Stanford in 2015.
The guard made his NBA debut in 2017 with the Philadelphia 76ers and has also appeared for the New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic.
Over 119 career games in the league, he’s averaged 5.7 points and 1.8 assists in 16 minutes per game, while shooting 40% overall.
He set a career high by averaging 20.1 minutes per game in 41 outings (five starts) for the Magic last season. Randle averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 assists and 2.0 rebounds with Orlando.
He has also spent time in the leagues in the Czech Republic, Spain and China, as well as contributing to several G League teams throughout his career.
The outlook for Randle to make the Suns’ roster looks unlikely with a full guard rotation already assembled.
Phoenix begins ramping back up after its 2021 NBA Finals run by gathering for media day on Monday.
