Arizona Wildcats to host New Mexico Lobos in 2024 football season

Arizona football will host the New Mexico Lobos in 2024 as a part of its nonconference schedule for the first matchup since the 2015 New Mexico Bowl.
New Mexico and Arizona have a long history of 67 total games, with the Wildcats leading the all-time series 44-20-3.
Head coach Jedd Fisch has struggled in nonconference games, starting 0-3 in his first three games.
The Wildcats will face Northern Arizona as well as go on the road to face the Kansas State Wildcats in 2024 to round out its nonconference schedule.
New Mexico out of the Mountain West finished last place in their division from 2017-19 before switching head coaches to former Arizona State Sun Devil defensive coordinator Danny Gonzales.
The Lobos head coach is familiar with Arizona, defeating them twice in two tries as a coach with the Sun Devils.
Arizona joins the Auburn Tigers as two Power Five foes in the 2024 nonconference schedule for New Mexico.
