D-backs prospect Brad Allen tosses no-hitter for Single-A South Bend

Arizona Diamondbacks prospect Brad Allen threw a no-hitter for Single-A South Bend against West Michigan on Saturday night.

The right-hander, who signed as a minor league free agent in December 2012, struck out nine and walked one.

Allen is 7-6 with a 4.67 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 18 starts this season for the Silver Hawks.
