The Arizona Cardinals (4-0) are the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL after the 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
Following the win, the Cardinals opened as a 4.5-point favorite against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.
49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppalo did not participate in practice during the week due to injury, but it was not until Friday when rookie quarterback Trey Lance was named the starter, did the line move.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Arizona has moved to a 5.5-point favorite for Sunday’s NFC West matchup or -240 on the moneyline. Currently, a $106 bet would net $100 on the Cardinals to win by 5.5 or more.
DraftKings Sportsbook has seen movement on the game since the Lance news was announced. Bettors saw the Cardinals line reach its lowest point Friday morning at -4. Fast forward to Saturday afternoon, the line reached -5.5 but currently sits at -5.
As Arizona ascends many power rankings around the league, the team’s odds to win the NFC West, NFC and Super Bowl continue to rise as well.
FanDuel gives the Cardinals the eighth-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +1500. It also gives Arizona a slight edge to win the division at +125, just ahead of the Rams at +140, 49ers at +500 and Seattle Seahawks at +1900.
FanDuel also gives Arizona the fourth-best odds to win the NFC at +600, only behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rams and Green Bay Packers.
