Arizona Diamondbacks to wear throwback jerseys Friday in Philadelphia

The Arizona Diamondbacks will wear throwback jerseys on the final stop of their current road trip when they visit Citizen Banks Park on 1990s Retro Night Friday in Philadelphia.
The team will wear their black alternate uniform and cap combination from the 1999 and 2000 seasons, which feature purple and teal trim.
When the team returns for its next homestand, it will be hosting its own Throwback Night at Chase Field on Saturday, August 31. The night will also feature an Alumni Game for the second consecutive year, with Luis Gonzalez, Matt Williams, Reggie Sanders, Steve Finley, Travis Lee and others scheduled to participate.
