Following Arizona State’s 35-21 defeat Saturday on the road against Utah, the Sun Devils dropped out of the top 25 in the Associated Press college football poll.
After taking a 21-7 lead into the locker room at halftime, ASU failed to score a single second-half point en route to the loss.
The Sun Devils also allowed 28 unanswered points in the second half alone.
With ASU dropping from the rankings, the Pac-12 only features one team in the top 25, the No. 10 Oregon Ducks.
It was another week in college football that featured a major shakeup at the top of the rankings. Then-No.2 ranked Iowa was riding to coattails of a big win over No. 7 Penn State, but was upset at home against Purdue.
The Sun Devils will have a bye this upcoming week and will take the field next on Oct. 30 at home against Washington State.
