The Arizona Cardinals have placed defensive lineman Corey Peters on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced prior to Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
In a corresponding move, the team activated defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter to the active roster from the practice squad.
Peters has appeared in all five games for the Cardinals this season, registering four solo tackles. The veteran lineman recovered a fumble in the Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Ledbetter signed with the Cardinals to the practice squad on Sept. 3 after spending his preseason with the Miami Dolphins. Ledbetter entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2019 out of Georgia.
The Cardinals will be without head coach Kliff Kingsbury, quarterbacks coach Cam Turner, linebacker Chandler Jones and defensive tackle Zack Allen against the Browns, who all tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
General manager Steve Keim also tested positive.
Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph and assistant head coach/special teams coordinator Jeff Rodgers will split head coaching duties, while assistant wide receivers coach Spencer Whipple will handle play-calling duties.
The Cardinals (5-0) travel to Cleveland to face the Browns (3-2) at 1:05 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
