The Cardinals will have both of their starting cornerbacks up against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Corners Marco Wilson and Byron Murphy are officially active for the Week 6 matchup after missing the team’s win over San Francisco last week with rib injuries.
Murphy currently paces the team in interceptions and pass deflections to go along with 14 tackles. Wilson is sixth on the Cardinals in tackles with 18 and has a pass defensed.
Other Cardinals players active this week include offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum (ribs), running back Chase Edmonds (shoulder) and linebacker Jordan Hicks (toe).
Newly signed tight end Zach Ertz, quarterback Chris Streveler, wide receiver Andy Isabella, running back Eno Benjamin and linebacker Tanner Vallejo are inactive for Arizona.
Arizona will need all hands on deck in Week 6, with head coach Kliff Kingsbury, quarterbacks coach Cam Turner, linebacker Chandler Jones and defensive lineman Zach Allen missing the game after testing positive for COVID-19. General manager Steve Keim also tested positive for the virus, while defensive lineman Corey Peters was placed on the COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday’s contest.
As for the Browns, running back Kareem Hunt is active after dealing with wrist and knee injuries throughout the week. He’ll lead Cleveland’s rushing attack with starter Nick Chubb out due to a calf injury.
Edge rushers Jadeveon Clowney and Myles Garrett are also active for the Browns.
Cleveland inactives include cornerback A.J. Green, linebacker Malcolm Smith, defensive lineman Tommy Togiai and offensive linemen Jedrick Wills Jr., Andrew Billings and Jack Conklin.
