The Phoenix Mercury lost the WNBA Finals to the Chicago Sky on Sunday that resulted in the ‘G.O.A.T’ reportedly smashing a door in the locker room at Wintrust Arena.
The Sky held their championship parade on Tuesday, celebrating the 3-1 series win over Phoenix, and had some fun at the Mercury’s expense by welcoming a special guest to the stage — Taurasi’s least-favorite door.

Taurasi spoke to the media on Monday for the first time since the series-clinching Game 4 loss on Sunday and was asked about the door.
“There were a lot of doors in there,” the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer said briefly through her mask.
This was presumably Taurasi’s first run-in with a door as she was previously 3-0 in her appearances for the championship, including a 2014 win over the Sky.
Although the door took some punishment from the Mercury star, Taurasi was not the only one that took the game hard.
Phoenix players as a whole waited until a day after the contest to speak to media.
