Add another accolade to the Point God’s long Hall of Fame resume.

Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul notched a quick eight assists in the first half of Tuesday night’s 112-100 win over the New Orleans Pelicans at Footprint Center.

Career dime No. 10,336 came on a Jae Crowder three-pointer with 1:30 to go in the second quarter.

The assist moves Paul past Mark Jackson and former Suns legend Steve Nash for the third-most in NBA history.

“It means a lot, man. I’m grateful and I thank god for this opportunity,” Paul said postgame.

“I say it all the time, not only to be on the team and still be in the league but to be playing. You know you don’t take that for granted. … But to be third, man, and still be playing, I’m grateful for it and still have a ways to go.”

Directly ahead of Paul on the all-time chart is another former Suns PG in Jason Kidd, who finished his career with 12,091 assists.

But the assist king’s crown still belongs to John Stockton, who tallied 15,806 assists in his Hall of Fame career.

“When I first came into the league and I seen that John Stockton, I was like, ‘I’m gonna get it.’ That shipped sailed. That shipped sailed a while ago when I started missing all them games,” Paul said while laughing.

He finished the night with a whopping 18 dimes, leaving him with a current career total of 10,346.
