Fox runs wild across Sun Devil Stadium during Arizona State-USC game

TEMPE — It’s not every day that a wild animal runs wild across a stadium during a football game.
But that’s exactly what happened at Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday night during the first quarter of Arizona State’s game vs. USC.

It wasn’t quite clear exactly what was darting across the gridiron and into the stands.
At first the blur appeared to be a dog to the Trojans, but ASU was able to pinpoint that the animal was indeed a fox.

And while trying to perhaps get a 40-yard dash time on the four-legged critter, it darted its way out of Sun Devil Stadium altogether.

The Sun Devils led the Trojans 7-0 at the end of the first quarter.
