The injury bug just keeps on biting the Arizona Cardinals.
Running back Chase Edmonds was seen limping off the field after the Cardinals’ first drive on offense against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon at Levi Stadium.
He has been ruled as questionable to return with an ankle injury, the team announced.
And unfortunately for the Cardinals, OL Justin Pugh was seen noticeably limping and required the cart to take him into the locker room.

Pugh has been ruled as questionable to return due to a calf injury, per Darren Urban, who also reports that Cardinals tight end Davis Wells is questionable to return with a hand injury.
Edmonds rushed for a three-yard gain before hobbling off.
With Arizona already missing QB Kyler Murray, WR DeAndre Hopkins and DL J.J. Watt due to injury — as well as WR A.J. Green because of COVID-19 — the next-man-up mantra becomes even more paramount for the Cardinals.
Running back James Conner will now receive the bulk of the carries with Edmonds sidelined.
The Cardinals led the 49ers 7-0 with six minutes to go in the first quarter after a 13-yard rushing score from Conner.
