Arizona State picked to finish second in Pac-12 South

Pac-12 Media Days kicked off Thursday in Los Angeles, and the festivities started with the release of the annual preseason media poll.
The 45-member voting panel has picked the USC Trojans to win the Pac-12 South, followed by the Arizona State Sun Devils. USC got 32 first-place votes while ASU received seven. UCLA, picked to finish third in the division, received the other six.
In the North, media favors Oregon (37 first-place votes) to finish first, followed by Stanford (eight first-place votes.)
Each media member was also asked to pick the overall conference winner. USC got the most votes, with 21. Oregon (17), Arizona State (3), UCLA (2) and Stanford (1) also received nods.
