Arizona State football has been handed yet another night game as the Nov. 20 matchup against Oregon State in Corvallis has been scheduled for 8:30 p.m. MST.
The Sun Devils have appeared in only one day game in 2021 through nine games, the Week 9 matchup against Washington State.
The 6-3 Sun Devils will face two Pacific Northwest opponents on the road before finishing the season at home against Arizona.
Before playing Oregon State, ASU will travel to Washington to face the 4-5 Huskies at 5 p.m. MST on Saturday.
Late season night games on the road have often caused issues for the Sun Devils, and Saturday may be the next speedbump.
The weather calls for a high of 50 degrees and a low of 40 with a 37% chance of showers, according to weather.com.
Many Sun Devil fans will remember the 2014 trip to Corvallis when ASU entered ranked No. 6 in the country for an 8:45 p.m. kickoff. In Todd Graham’s third year as head coach, the team was coming off a win vs. a top-10 ranked Notre Dame team the previous week, but fell to the Beavers 35-27 in sub-freezing temperatures.
ASU is 2-7 in its last nine games in Corvallis dating back to 2003. This will be the fifth time in the last six meetings that the two teams will meet in Oregon, with the Sun Devils last hosting the Beavers in 2019.
