The 2015 college football season is a little more than a month away.
Thursday morning, USA Today released the preseason Amway Coaches Poll Top 25 and it’s no surprise that defending national champion Ohio State topped the poll.
The Buckeyes, who defeated Oregon in last season’s inaugural College Football Playoff Championship Game, received 62 of a possible 64 first-place votes.
The Arizona State Sun Devils, led by fourth-year head coach Todd Graham, are ranked 16th in the preseason rankings.
ASU is coming off a second straight 10-win season under Graham and wrapped up their season with a 36-31 victory over Duke in the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
The Sun Devils are one of five Pac-12 teams appearing in the Top 25, joining Oregon (5th), USC (10th), UCLA (14th), Stanford (21st) and Arizona (22nd).
