The Arizona Cardinals had a rough day at the office in Sunday afternoon’s 34-10 loss.

Already banged up and missing stars like QB Kyler Murray, WR DeAndre Hopkins and DL J.J. Watt, the team trailed the Carolina Panthers 31-3 in the third quarter.

But things went from bad to worse when backup quarterback Colt McCoy was sacked by Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson.

The former Texas Longhorn went down to one knee following the eight-yard loss on the play.

McCoy went to the blue medical tent and then exited the game to head to the Cardinals locker room.

He was been ruled questionable to return with a chest injury, the team announced.

Third-string quarterback Chris Streveler came in to replace McCoy, who was 11-for-20 (55%) for 107 yards and one interception before exiting the game.

Streveler went 2-for-2 for 16 yards on his first two passing attempts.

But unfortunately for the Cardinals, both series resulted in a turnover on downs.

Arizona will hope to have Murray back next week when the team travels up to Seattle to take on the Seahawks, who just got QB Russell Wilson back from injured reserve.
