Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is officially inactive for the team’s Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Sunday marks the third straight game the signal caller will miss due to a left ankle injury suffered in Arizona’s Thursday Night Football loss to the Green Bay Packers.
He joins wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring), offensive lineman Justin Pugh (calf), running back Jonathan Ward (concussion) and safety James Wiggins (knee) on the inactive list.
While Murray is out, backup quarterback Colt McCoy is officially active after dealing with a pectoral strain. McCoy is slated to take over starting quarterback duties with Murray sidelined. McCoy is 1-1 as the Cardinals starter in 2021, completing 71.7% of his passes for 356 yards and one touchdown to an interception. He’ll be backed up by Chris Streveler.
Offensive lineman Max Garcia (Achilles) and cornerback Budda Baker (heel) are also good.
As for the Seahawks, cornerback D.J. Reed, quarterback Jacob Eason, offensive lineman Jamarco Jones and defensive linemen Robert Nkemdiche and L.J. Collier are inactive for Sunday’s tilt.
Safety Jamal Adams, linebacker Cody Barton and defensive end Kerry Hyder, however, are officially active.
The Cardinals take on the Seahawks in Seattle at 2:55 p.m. Catch all the action on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
