The Arizona State Sun Devils will once again not be at full strength for Saturday afternoon’s regular-season finale against the Arizona Wildcats.

ASU senior linebackers Darien Butler (concussion) and Merlin Robertson (hamstring) will miss the 2021 Territorial Cup at Sun Devil Stadium, according to SunDevilSource.

Butler’s absence marks the second consecutive game the captain has missed after not playing against Oregon State in Corvallis last week.

The Sun Devils defense will also be without three safeties in starting senior Evan Fields and sophomore backups Kejuan Marham and Willie Harts.

Offensively, Arizona State will still be without starting right guard Henry Hattis, senior wide receiver Johnny Wilson and freshman tight end Jalen Conyers.

However, ASU senior starting TE Curtis Hodges — who missed the Oregon State game due to the car accident he and four other players were involved in — and sophomore WR Andre Johnson will play against Arizona.

The return of the Sun Devils’ No. 2 pass-catcher, who is also their best run-blocking tight — will aid an ASU offense seeking to finish the regular season on a high note.

Arizona State running back Daniel Ngata is also dressed for the Territorial Cup.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. Catch all the action on ESPN 620 AM or 98.7 FM HD-2.
