Former Cardinals quarterback Chris Streveler joined the Baltimore Ravens practice squad on Monday, the team announced.
The move comes after the Cardinals cut Streveler on Nov. 22 and signed quarterback Trace McSorley from the Ravens practice squad. With Streveler now heading to Baltimore’s practice squad, the two essentially traded places.
Streveler joined the Cardinals prior to the 2020 season after being a standout in the Canadian Football League for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Across seven career games with the Cardinals, Streveler completed 68% of his passes (17-of-25) for 141 yards and one touchdown to an interception. Streveler saw action in five games during his first season in Arizona, but would take a step back on the depth chart with the addition of backup quarterback Colt McCoy.
In what would be his final action with the team in Week 10 against the Carolina Panthers, Streveler completed six of his nine throws for 36 yards in relief of McCoy, who was starting in place of Kyler Murray.
