Former Missouri tight end Messiah Swinson announced Tuesday morning that he is transferring to Arizona State.
The 6-foot-7, 255-pound Swinson spent four seasons with the Tigers after selecting them over ASU out of high school. He tweeted in 2017 that his top-three choices were Missouri, Arizona State and North Carolina State.
A torn ACL as a freshman kept him off the field early, and he caught just seven passes for 84 yards during his time as a Tiger.

Swinson joins the Sun Devils with two years of eligibility remaining.
The New York native was a three-star recruit out of Long Island Lutheran High School.
He is the son of late former St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Corey Swinson.
ASU will lose tight ends Curtis Hodges and John Stivers next year and are in need replacements.
The program recently added junior college transfer Bryce Pierre from Chaffey College to help fill the position group.
The Sun Devils still have redshirt freshman Jalin Conyers, whose role could increase next season.
