Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner fought through an ankle injury leading into last week’s game but was listed as a non-participant with a heel issue for a third day of practice ahead of a Week 16 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Conner, the Cardinals’ leading touchdown scorer, has been listed as questionable for the game on Christmas Day.

On Thursday, wide receiver Rondale Moore (ankle) and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (knee) were absent with their respective ailments. The Cardinals ruled Phillips out for Saturday’s game while Moore remains questionable.

Offensive lineman Max Garcia (knee), who was downgraded to a DNP after practicing in a limited fashion on Tuesday, was back as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice.

Arizona had four players become full participants in Thursday’s practice after being limited throughout the week: tight end Zach Ertz (hamstring), outside linebacker Markus Golden (knee), nose tackle Zach Kerr (ribs) and receiver Antoine Wesley (ankle).

Indianapolis ruled safety Andrew Sendejo (concussion) and center Ryan Kelly (personal) out for the Cardinals’ game on Thursday.

Offensive lineman Quenton Nelson (illness) returned to practice as a full participant after missing Wednesday.
