The Phoenix Suns couldn’t bring home a Christmas Day victory over the Golden State Warriors, falling 116-107 at home.

The loss snaps a 15-game home winning streak for the Suns.

In a featured matchup between the two best teams in the NBA, the third meeting between the teams didn’t disappoint.

A back-and-forth game, the Warriors were able to pull away thanks to a strong fourth quarter and the play of point guard Steph Curry.

Previously struggling on Christmas Day in his career, Curry had no issue finding his shot Saturday in Phoenix, dropping 33 points.

The Suns wouldn’t go down quietly, making it a game late after the Warriors started the final quarter on a run.

With the Warriors leading the Suns 109-107 with just over two minutes to go, Golden State forward Otto Porter hit contested jump shots on back-to-back possessions to make things 113-107.

The following Suns’ possession, guard Devin Booker missed a baseline three, where Porter followed with a three of his own for the Warriors, effectively sealing the game.

Porter scored a season-high 19 points.

Chris Paul led the way for the Suns, scoring 21 points and adding eight assists and six boards.
