Arizona State’s men’s basketball game against UCLA that was originally scheduled for New Year’s Day Saturday has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
The game will take place at Pauley Pavilion and can be heard on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
The Sun Devils’ New Year’s weekend trip to Los Angeles against the Bruins and USC Trojans was postponed due to COVID-19 issues within both of the southern California schools’ programs.
This has caused three straight missed games for ASU after a power outage forced a cancellation against Florida A&M on Dec. 21.
No. 5 UCLA (8-1; 1-0 Pac-12) has missed five originally scheduled games against Washington, Alabama State, Cal Poly, Arizona and Arizona State.
The Pac-12 games were postponed instead of canceled, meaning the conference will reschedule postponements instead of just canceling out-of-conference games altogether.
Arizona State last took the floor exactly two weeks ago in a 66-65 home loss to the San Francisco Dons on Dec. 19.
ASU (5-7; 1-1) returns to the hardwood on the road to take on the California Bears (8-5; 1-1) at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
