It’s the end of the Arizona Cardinals’ 2021 regular season, and while they quickly shift gears for a playoff appearance, fans and schedule-makers can now begin lining up what their 2022 season will look like.

The Cardinals’ four intra-conference games will come against the NFC South’s New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons.

Across conferences, they will play the AFC West: The Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders.

For the 17th game, each NFC West teams will square off against the AFC East team that finished in the same spot of their respective standings.

That’d be the New England Patriots, who finished second in their division behind the Buffalo Bills, just as the Cardinals finished in the NFC West.

The Cardinals had a chance to win their division heading into the season finale but lost 38-30 against the Seattle Seahawks as the Rams fell in overtime to the San Francisco 49ers.

Arizona will now travel as the No. 5 seed to face the No. 4 seed Rams in the Wild Card division of the playoffs.
